The Adaptability Protocol

Toughness isn’t born. It’s trained.

Six weeks of guided practice that build recovery, flexibility, and clear-headedness into repeatable habits — for solo learners, small cohorts, and entire organizations.

How the program works

Most advice on resilience stays on the page instead of entering the week. This protocol bridges that divide: six weeks, five habits, one visible change in how you meet broken plans.

Every week combines a concise science briefing with a two-minute daily exercise and a structured reflection. Members measure their rebound time — how quickly clear thinking returns after a knock — and watch that number shrink.

Three ways to take part: a self-directed edition, a facilitated cohort limited to forty seats, or a private version run inside your organization.

The five habits

What you’ll practice, week after week.

  1. Label the break

The opening week trains exact language: what precisely went wrong, and which parts are story rather than fact. Sharp labels shorten a bad day’s afterlife considerably.

  2. The ten-minute reset

A bodily gear-change exercise — breathing, posture, focus — that settles the nervous system before the next call has to be made.

  3. Rewrite it on paper

A guided writing task that parts facts from predictions, so backup plans take the place of worst-case spirals.

  4. Lean on others

Steadiness is social. Week four charts your calm network — the three people whose composure steadies you — and drafts exactly how to ask for it.

  5. Rehearse the next hit

Pre-mortems and if-then planning turn the method from repair kit into readiness — so the next shock meets a mind that has drilled for it.

Who it fits

Made for people carrying genuine weight.

What changes

“Tough weeks stopped scaring me. The reset exercise alone transformed how I guide my team through restructures.”
Daniel ReyesOperations Director, Cohort 6
“Ninety of our managers went through it. Escalations grew calmer inside a month — our people team spotted it first.”
